How do you calculate "true cost"?
For each station: pump price, minus the fuel tax (IFTA) by jurisdiction, minus your negotiated cardlock rebate. That true net cost is what ranks the stops — not the price on the sign.
Will my drivers actually use this?
The driver app is mobile, no account to create. One screen: next stop, litres, true cost. Most use it on their first trip, no training.
What if the pump price is different when I arrive?
Prices are updated daily from station sources. An occasional gap is possible — a safety margin is built into every recommendation. Across a full route, net savings stay positive.
